INTERLACEMENTS AND PATTERNS CREATED WITH VINTAGE LABELS IN BEAUTIFUL WORKS BY TROY DUGAS

Troy Dugas is an American artist born in Louisiana in 1970. He moved to New York after graduation, working as a successful designer in the fashion industry and television, until the return to Louisiana in 2002. Since then he has dedicated himself to development of his artistic research. His works are included in many private and public collections, including the Frederick Weisman Foundation in California, The Ogden Museum in New Orleans, and the West Collection in Pennsylvania.
Its beautiful collages are made with vintage labels. The material is cut and assembled on paper, canvas or wood. It creates amazing repetitions and patterns that thanks to the new context provide a new meaning to the base material.
