BEAUTIFUL PATTERNS WITH FLORAL PAINTINGS AND SKETCHES BY JANICE NELSON

Janice Nelson is an artist and designer, graduate of New York City's Fashion Institute of Technology, where she earned her BFA in Textile and Surface Design.
In 2016 she started her business online, designing and selling beautiful textile products with eco-friendly printing methods.
"Free-spirited design meets the structure of textiles". All designs begin in Janice's sketchbook, where every original design is hand-drawn and/or painted. A combination of paints, hand-made natural dyes, and pens are all used to create Janice's ornate and detailed patterns.

MAGNIFICENT TEXTURES AND BAS-RELIEFS INTO FRANCOISE CHRISTIEN’S TEXTILE WORKS

Françoise Christien is an extraordinary French textile artist inspired by her natural environment, the wild coast and Breton woods: mushrooms, luxuriant moss, lichen and sea-shells clinging to the rock, anemones: light spots of rain, water puddles sea that envelops life, plants and minerals.
Thanks to her extraordinary felt processing technique, with wonderful textures and overlays, incorporating silk or other materials, Françoise recreates these environments and these surfaces.
There are so many important dresses and coats, made in one piece seamless, or the beautiful bas-reliefs that Françoise calls “peaux de mur” (“wall-skins”).

FUNNY GEOMETRICAL PATTERNS IN BEAUTIFUL PROJECT “WONDERPLANTS” BY SARAH ILLENBERGER

Sarah Illenberger, born in 1976 in Munich, is a Berlin-based artist, illustrator and designer. Her visual language is defined by giving common things a new meaning. She creates installations using various materials and techniques, which are then photographed or presented in public places. Her work appears in books, magazines, digital media and window displays. She also produces limited editions and design objects.
“Wonderplants” is one her personal project that I love: it’s a series of leaves collected in the botanical gardens of porto decorated using colored tapes, with funny geometrical patterns.
